"Maria" aka "Maria, tu sei per me la vita" is an extremely rare and amazingly beautiful Italian song, written by the great Neapolitan composer Ernesto de Curtis and sung from the famous Italian tenor Beneamino Gigli in the movie "Casa lontana" in 1939.
However the song must be written at least few years earlier, because Ernesto de Curtis died on 31 December 1937 in Naples.
There are 2 different versions existing of the song - botn sung from B. Gigli only. Here is the one used in the movie with guitar chords included.
